This mock interior illustration was created as part of a series of illustrations inspired by Neil Gaiman’s Norse Mythology. This specific page from one of the earliest chapters depicts Ymir, the first giant who was murdered by their spawn Odin. From Ymir’s brains became the clouds, from their flesh became the earth, and from their blood became the seas. Drawn with ink and painted with watercolors.
